Position Summary

Responsible for the development, set-up, deployment & post-launch analysis of outbound email marketing campaigns. Previous email marketing experience required.

Specific Responsibilities

* Work with individual Brand(s) or programs to develop, set-up, and launch email campaigns with heavy emphasis on customer segmentation and contact strategy, technical set-up & execution.
* Query data and execute email campaign set-up using Email application (Responsys Interact, Cheetah Mail, Double Click, Acxiom Digital experience a plus).
* Design/code and troubleshoot relevant business rules and segmentation for each campaign.
* Identify customer segments, testing approach, and execute database queries/file loads
* Use behavioral targeting tool to make recommendations and target campaigns.
* Maintain email production calendar, processes & reporting.
* Build event triggered campaign series.
* Analyze & compile results to support benchmarking & program optimization. Make contract strategy recommendations by segment.
* Execute testing scenarios using A/B splits and control groups
* Special projects as assigned including working with IT and ESP for development projects as well as cross functional teams.


* 1-2 years experience in email marketing campaign coordination/deployment preferred.
* Comfortable working with large data sets and the ability to modify and join data from different sources. Database management a plus
* Strong sense of Quality Control and experience with User-Interface testing
* Facility with Excel and FTP tools. HTML, SQL, and ETL tools a plus
* Ability to deal with ambiguity and a fast-paced changing environment
* Well-organized, high attention to detail, Deadline-oriented
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Enjoys working with others as part of a team
