JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Team

You will be driving the technical direction for a small team (3-6ppl) of bright, independent developers, working to integrate critical systems which drive ITSM and Infrastructure delivery systems at Williams-Sonoma today. The team is both on site and remote.

About the Role

Hands-on, architectural-type role, designing and delivering enterprise integrations and dashboarding tools (ELK) to support production reliability (monitoring, alerting, event management). New integration development is required along with a plan to optimize existing tools while consolidate our footprint.

Near term, the team will be tooling the integration necessary to move from manual infrastructure delivery lifecycles to fully automated IaaS. This is a principle level position requiring a visionary who can play any role necessary in building the solution.

You will need to be unrelenting at implementing with good design principles, solid development practices and deliverables that are secure, repeatable and scalable.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

We're excited about you because...

* You have a BS or MS in Business, Computer Sciences, Engineering, or related field (an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered)
* You have a minimum of 7 + years in related work experience
* You have 3-5 years' experience working in system integration or automation
* You are familiar with the principles of DevOps
* You have superior oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others
* You are proficiency working in a complex, dynamic technical environment
* You have some history in management of secure network systems
* You have expert knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux)
* You have technical knowledge Cloud and Hosted technologies
