About the Team

You will be part of the Technical Infrastructure team responsible for designing, building and delivering key technical building blocks such as Servers, Containers, Storage, Networking, Voice, Databases, Data Centers, Service Desk and Monitoring tools. Our job is to ensure that every WSI location, associate and customer has the best experience possible utilizing the vast array of technical solutions we provide.

The mission of the Infrastructure Project Management Office is to help ensure the organization efficiently implement solutions that enhance the quality, resiliency and scalability of the technology services delivered to the business.

About the Role

As the Manager of the Infrastructure Project Management Office, you will be responsible for leading a Project Management Team, implementing common PMBOK frameworks to be ubiquitously used by your team across a variety of simultaneous projects and programs. You will work with project managers and engineers to deliver performance and service standards from your internal customer's requirements preventing business downtime and actively serving as a model for Project Management to your team.

This role reports to the Director of Infrastructure Finance.

* You have excellent communication and organizational skills.
* You have strong capabilities in authoring and managing technical planning exercises.
* You have experience and the ability to provide a detailed plan for migrating and implementing new technology solutions.
* You have experience with the technologies in: Networking, UNIX/Linux, VMware, Cloud Computing, Object Storage and Storage Gateway protocols including Block, CIFS and NAS
* You have experience with the following hardware platforms: HP, Nutanix, NetApp, IBM, Brocade, Cisco, PaloAlto, Arista to name a few.
* You work well in a fast paced, collaborative environment.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Sciences, Engineering, or related field (an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered).
* 10+ years of Infrastructure Project Management experience managing projects in a variety of technology areas, including: Networking, Servers, and Storage, Data Centers, Cloud and SaaS, Infrastructure Monitoring, Configuration Management, and scripting.
* Superior oral and written communication skills. Ability to exhibit a commanding presence when necessary.
* Knowledge of theory and deep experience with the principles of project and people management, knowing when to use which tool from the PMBOK to move projects forward.
* Superior computer skills including business applications such as MS Windows and MS Office including Project, Excel, Visio, and Word.
