Responsible for supporting the functions of furniture accounting and foreign costing groups. Maintain and support the furniture access database and related journal entries. Support the actualization of cost for foreign purchases for freight, duties, customs and brokerage fees. Responsible for preparing and recording complex journal entries associated with inventory accounting. Support retail stores, DC's and hubs with inventory accounting related functions. Participate and support store physical inventory and year-end reconciliation. Support the requirement of royalty and charity agreements including audits. Prepare month-end journal entries and variance analysis. Recommend/implement process improvement and procedures. Support special projects as assigned.


* Support the responsibilities of the Furniture Accounting group.
* Ensure accuracy of cost goods in the inventory stock ledger. Coordinator actualization of estimated landed cost for freight, duties, customs, and brokerage fees.
* Support stores, DC's and Hubs to resolve inventory related issues daily for domestic and international locations.
* Collect data, prepare and record journal entries associated with RTV transactions within stores, DC's and Hubs.
* Participate in coordinating and conducting annual physical inventory of stores and year-end reconciliation.
* Support licensee royalty payable and receivable programs including audits.
* Prepare monthly inventory journal entries to adjust general ledger balances.
* Propose solutions to address accounting issues. Review and provide guidance related to company policies/procedures. Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures..
* Special projects as assigned.


* Bachelor's degree in Accounting (4 year degree).
* Strong PC, systems, and analytical skills. Knowledge of large corporate accounting programs.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
* Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
* Ability to produce reports and analyze data to assist management in decision-making.
* Ability to travel and work overtime and weekends as needed.
