JOB DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

The Industrial Engineering team is responsible for leading and assisting in planning the utilization and installation of labor management systems, facilities, equipment, materials, and personnel to improve efficiency of operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Must have a general understanding of functional flow documents, organization charts, process flow charts, and project information/plans to determine functions and responsibilities of resources.
* Assist in the establishment of work measurement programs and analyzes work samples to validate standards for labor utilization.
* Set up and Implementation of Manhattan Associates Labor Management System in both Distribution and Manufacturing environments.
* Conducts Training on the Labor Management and Incentive based pay programs.
* Assist in data entry and creation of daily/weekly management reports in Access and Excel for cost analysis, financial planning, and Site/Department productivity.
* Participates in implementation of training programs for non-exempt employees as required to implement operational process improvements.
* Participates in special projects and other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering or technically related field required.
* Minimum 3-5 years Industrial Engineering experience in a fast pace Retail/DTC distribution environment required.
* Minimum of 1 year labor management experience
* Proficiency in computer applications such as Auto CAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
* Project Management experience essential
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Quality Management experience
* Process Management experience
* Proficiency in Inventor, WMS knowledge, Access and Manhattan's LMS
