POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Financial Analyst will partner with all levels of management to guide and facilitate the analysis of Williams-Sonoma's customer care center business performance. He/she will provide financial expertise for forecasting, ad hoc analysis, budgeting, and strategic business planning.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

* Advise Care Center leadership on the company's financial forecasts to ensure strategic planning decisions are implemented based on appropriate financial guidance.
* Present ad hoc analysis to senior leaderships teams as requested.
* Assist with consolidation and financial reporting to senior management.
* Devise annual budget calendar and build budget templates. Assist cross-functional departments in the budgeting process and ensure timely delivery of annual budgets for executive approval.
* Work with senior management to provide financial support for new business developments and growth initiatives to ensure that directives are in line with the strategic direction of the organization.
* Assist with cross-company and cross-functional projects to identify new opportunities for improvement in forecast accuracy and process efficiency.
* Forecast and gauge market/industry trends and prepare summaries for executive review detailing forecast patterns and the company's overall outlook.
* Partner with senior leadership to develop and maintain the 5-year plan for the company.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Finance, Economics, or related degree
* 2+ years experience in an accounting/finance role
* Prior budget and forecasting experience at a corporate level.
* Experience with process improvement implementations
* Expert level Microsoft Excel capabilities (v-look-ups, sumifs, massive spreadsheets etc)
* Must have ability to work with little supervision and training. Self-motivation and creative thinking is imperative.
* Ability to work under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Advanced degree or certification
* Prior experience supporting call center operations
* Experience with Lawson accounting software
* Knowledge of large corporate accounting programs
