Summary

Assist in development of email marketing strategy for west elm including promotional campaigns, triggers/transactional campaigns, email capture/overall health of the email file, and a testing roadmap. Execute and report on email Marketing campaigns to increase incremental profit and to support west elm brand initiatives. Coordinate with brand e-commerce, email operations and Customer Relationship Marketing teams to implement brand strategies. Oversee and conduct analysis and provide insight to manage the success of the email marketing program and to improve efficiencies and processes.

Responsibilities:

* Management of daily email Marketing campaigns (promotional and triggers/transactional campaigns)
* Monitor email capture success and overall email health and make recommendations for changes where appropriate
* Assist in generation of ideas for testing/new email technology, assist in development and execution of testing roadmap
* Track production milestones to ensure timely delivery of campaign assets and communicate progress daily
* Coordinate with merchandising, store operations, public relations/social media, and credit card teams to set email launch dates and confirm appropriate landing pages
* Confirm segmentation or targeting with Brand and modeling team
* Assign campaign tracking codes for all campaigns using spreadsheet macros
* Review and approve all campaign test files, providing approval for deployment
* Upload weekly auto trigger files from merchants and inventory teams as needed
* Prepare data and creative reference for analytics archive
* Produce weekly campaign performance reporting, including engagement metrics, productivity trends, and test results
* Produce monthly reporting and analysis on auto trigger performance
* Manage seasonal updates in evergreen creative
* Participate in preparing monthly and quarterly presentations to brand partners
* Promo code and barcode management as needed
* Perform mainframe database uploads for each season
* Collaborate with peers on other WSI brands to share best practices and test results

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree
* 1-2 years of general business experience required
* Email experience preferred
* Direct Marketing and/or Retail Industry experience preferred
* Proven analytical and organizational skills
* Extensive Excel experience manipulating data in very large spreadsheets
* Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a deadline driven environment
* Strong attention to detail; good follow-through skills
* Able to work well in team environment
