West Elm is seeking a Director of Personalization to join the e-Commerce team. Using a deep understanding of customer-centric business practices, the Director will curate marketing and experiences unique to each individual. This role will focus on both strategy and execution of personalized campaigns across channels and on our brand's sites.

Essential Functions:
* Develop 1-1 personalization approach utilizing our vast store of behavioral data and creating segment-of-one campaigns utilizing dynamic personalized content across marketing channels and on brand's website.
* Transform customer data into actionable insights, and provide accurate interpretation and consistent reporting of data on customer metrics and campaign/promotion results to share with the leadership team.
* Create, manage, and scale existing and new customer engagement strategies and initiatives to attract and retain key customer segments.
* Quantify the business impact of personalization programs and continue to evaluate and refine program to maximize program effectiveness.
* Partner with channel leads to implement strategies across organization.


* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related field of study required. MBA a plus.
* 5+ years of experience in related positions with increasing responsibility
* Demonstrated ability to develop segment-of-one strategies and drive personalization at scale
* Pragmatic, understands the 80/20 rule, and knows when to boil the ocean and when not to. The solutions developed are understandable and implementable.
* Team player, who understands that success stems from strong partnerships.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Entrepreneurial spirit, with a willingness to test and learn.
* Comfortable working with executives and sharing wins/losses in a concise and digestible format.
* Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
* Experience with Adobe Analytics and/or personalized marketing platforms a plus.
