Essential Functions

* Paint/create original artwork based on seasonal concepts
* Participate in design meetings to share concepts and present individual ideas
* Develop original and bought artworks into design sketches and create artwork in repeat and colorways in specific category (bedding, pillows, throw, etc.)
* Provide all visuals and assemble presentation boards for all milestone meetings displaying product designs
* Create CAD packages that include artwork, repeats, and colorways
* Work closely with Tech Design, Sourcing, and Merchandising to review all product and development details from development to production
* Create product in PLM and provide all development details
* Attend weekly PD cross-functional meetings and maintain all product and design updates
* Organize and maintain regularly the development files, artwork library, fabric library, seasonal color palettes



* Are able to work collaboratively in a group as well as be a self-starter
* Have an innate willingness to dig in and contribute to the team and business goals.
* Display excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Have an advanced knowledge of print, pattern, color and repeats and love to paint and create new things.
* Are motivated and self-driven, think innovatively, are willing to take risks, and pride yourself on your work and attention to detail
* Are flexible in their design aesthetic and be able to develop a variety of print design styles, graphic patterns, painterly and textural looks.

Required Skills and Experience:

* Degree in textile design or surface design
* Experience in textile product design - advanced knowledge of textile CAD design, textile print design, repeat and color.
* Experience in product development
* Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
* Proficient in NedGraphics a huge plus, knowledge of PLM a plus
* Ability to paint in multiple mediums
