Position Summary

Writes work orders for items picked by A&V Merchandising Manager for restoration by Salvage Shop, including the Restored Lighting, Wood Shop, Furniture, Upholstery, and Framing areas. Responsible for ensuring that restoration production queue is full and quality standards are met in a profitable manner. Facilitates the process flow of items through the Salvage Shop and out to photography. Facilitates the receipt, kitting, and organization of inbound raw items.

Specific Responsibilities

* With direction from the Antiques and Vintage team, coordinates product preparation for production by processing weekly requests. Picks, writes work orders, and prioritizes items for restoration.
* Partners with A&V team and Restoration Production Lead to prioritize the restoration queue and assists Restoration Lead to flow product through Restoration Shop area.
* Assesses condition of items and specifies work instructions for Restoration Specialists. Works with Restoration Specialists to problem solve as items are restored.
* Fulfills the product kitting process by determining all products/parts required for completion of the work order. Helps to order and procure required supplies/materials required for restoration of items.
* Coordinates with 3rd-party vendors for specialty restoration services.
* Works with IM to assist in item setup.
* Works with IC and Receiving to assist in item kitting upon receipt, and organization of raw A&V goods in warehouse.
* Facilitates completed web product flow to photography; organizes and stages product, performs QC and labelling prior to handoff to Warehousing.
* Inspects restored product and restoration quality to ensure the company standards are maintained.
* Collaborates with other departments to achieve departmental and company goals.
* Works safely, complying with all company and OSHA safety guidelines for equipment, tools, and processes.
* Contributes to the continuous improvement of manufacturing and restoration processes.

* Collaborates with other employees to complete orders and solve problems.
* Performs other duties as assigned by Management.


* Minimum of 2 years experience in the restoration business, preferably restoring furniture and lighting.
* Proficient use of MS Office Products -- Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
* Demonstrated ability to use basic hand and power tools, and forklift
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Valid driver's license
* High levels of troubleshooting and creative problem solving

Physical Demands:

* While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to constantly stand, walk, talk and hear. The associate must be able to frequently move, lift or carry heavy objects or materials up to 50 pounds. Specific visual abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and color vision.

Work Conditions:

* Work is regularly performed in a manufacturing setting. There may be exposure to flying particles and airborne particles, chemicals, fumes, flammable materials, dirt, grease, and electrical equipment (Personal Protective Equipment provided). May work near moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to humid, hot, or cold conditions as well as exposure to high noise levels.
