Position Summary

Performs routine and basic janitorial, grounds, as well as maintenance tasks at Rejuvenation manufacturing facility.

Specific Responsibilities

* Performs daily and routine housekeeping and cleaning tasks, to include

* sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, polishing floors
* washing and dusting surface areas
* disposing of waste, garbage and recyclable materials
* cleaning and upkeep of bathrooms, kitchen and lunchroom area
* Sweeps and washes exterior surfaces and removes external litter and refuse
* Maintains equipment, systems, and storage areas.
* Assists with other aspect of facilities improvements projects including occasional painting, off-site errands, and construction clean-up.
* Works as a member of a maintenance team.
* Follows up on completed work orders to ensure satisfactory completion of projects.
* Requires the use of power and non-power hand tools (i.e. hammers, wrenches, etc.)
* Performs other duties as assigned.


* 1 year prior experience of janitorial or construction clean-up, as well as performing simple maintenance tasks.
* Ability to operate standard janitorial equipment, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
* Ability to safely use power and hand tools.
* Working knowledge of general safety practices, wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
* Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Ability to work with high sense of urgency and in deadline driven environment.
* Moderate levels of English speaking, writing and reading comprehension.
* Moderate levels of active listening, mathematics, critical thinking, equipment selection, trouble shooting, and repairing.
* Moderate levels of coordination, service orientation, and equipment maintenance.
* Must have valid driver's license and ability to operate company-owned vehicle.
* High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands:

* While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to stand, walk, talk and hear. The associate must be able to frequently move, lift or carry heavy objects or materials up to 75 pounds. Must be able to climb and perform work from ladders.

Work Conditions:

* Work is regularly performed in a manufacturing setting. There may be exposure to flying particles and airborne particles, chemicals, fumes, flammable materials, dirt, grease, and electrical equipment (Personal Protective Equipment provided as needed). May work near moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to humid, hot, or cold conditions as well as exposure to high noise levels.
* May be required to handle chemicals (PPE provided as needed)
* Work will also frequently be performed outside, with exposure to all weather conditions.
