About the Team

You will be part of the Technical Infrastructure team responsible for designing, building and delivering key technical building blocks such as Servers, Storage, Networking, Voice, Databases, Data Centers, Service Desk and Monitoring tools. Our job is to ensure that every WSI location, associate and customer has the best experience possible utilizing our vast array of technical solutions we provide.

About the Role

The Dynamics AX Lead Developer is responsible for leading the development and support efforts of our implementation of the Microsoft Dynamics AX implementation. The person filling this role authors, reviews, and approves technical designs and implementations for new systems and system changes including data conversion and interfaces to other systems. S/he develops extensible solutions, identifies and corrects complex defects, and reviews application to ensure it is functionally correct and consistent with the technical design. S/he defines and performs complex systems administration tasks and develops cross system automation scripts if needed. S/he participates in the resolution of complex production support activities, and leads work for system management, security and compliance efforts. S/he is accountable for team dependencies and critical paths, contributes to product roadmaps, and validates vendor estimates and assumptions.

* Writes new software, makes modifications to existing software, or integrates software applications and modules in accordance with agreed upon specifications
* Creates and executes unit testing ensuring software meets requirements
* Develops and maintains integrations with other enterprise business applications

* Provides technical support to operations or other development teams
* Creates, reviews, and maintains all required technical documentation/manual related to assigned software to ensure supportability and reuse

* Demonstrates to business user's software application solutions and reports as requested

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent work experience
* You have a minimum of 10+ years relevant work experience
* You have experience working in a retail technology organization, preferred
* You have a background in MS Dynamics development, with BI experience preferred
