Position Summary:

Manage and control inventory levels for upholstery fabric to achieve concept sales, inventory, profit and turnover objectives. Identify business risks and opportunities and propose solutions to maximize sales objectives.

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for, but not limited to the following:

* Manage and maintain fabric financial forecast for WSI. (OTB/rolling forecast) Take timely action to maximize sales, profitability and inventory productivity
* Develop and provide appropriate business analysis to influence future fabric purchases and assortment strategies
* Plan and report fabric sales and forecast appropriate inventory levels by SKU, for all WSI
* Reforecast fabric demand sales weekly and aggregate all fabric changes
* Report out on yardage on hand at Sutter St. and at the vendors
* Create and actualize global fabric plans and usage
* Build inventory for planned promotions
* React and communicate floor set and catalog depiction changes
* Actualize and forecast billed sales fabric usage to provide visibility into what WSI owns
* Reconcile on-hand, on-order and in-transit fabric inventory
* Identify potential inventory liabilities and recommend appropriate exit strategies to bring quantity of fabric and frames to a desired level
* Create Seasonal Fabric rollups
* Ensure that correct lead times are being quoted
* Create and actualize global fabric plans and usage

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

* 3-5 years retail planning experience
