JOB DESCRIPTION

Manage and create seasonal merchandise database for both Pottery Barn Upholstery products. Coordinate and facilitate processes and flow of information internally and externally. Provide support to Merchandising team and cross-functional partners (Inventory, Sourcing, Ecomm, etc.).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Compile and input data to maintain seasonal product information database.
* Work closely with Merchandising team to assist in creation and maintenance of upholstery SKU product databases.
* Work closely with Manager/Sourcing/Merch Operations to ensure timely delivery and/or changes to delivery of SKU set-up information.
* Work closely with Inventory to ensure correct pricing for SKU set-up and costing for active POs.
* Work closely with Ecommerce to facilitate timely launch of SKUs.
* Create and maintain change forms to ensure database consistency working closely with Merchandising team.
* Interface with managers, project management and e-technology team for timely database uploads, site deployments, and reporting of issues.
* Investigate and respond to issues related to SKU set-up/accuracy/pricing.
* Compile data for analysis into reports working closely with Manager/Merchandising team.
* Coordinate and participate in weekly team meetings in order to ensure accurate information on SKU availability.
* Coordinate the archiving of Upholstery seasonal features, functionality, and products.
* Other projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* Previous eCommerce, retail or catalog experience 1-2 years
* Strong computer skills, including advanced Excel skills, and word processing applications. Must have an interest in data organization, data flow processes, building reports, and data analysis. Experience with Access database/SQL Server a plus.
* Well-organized and detail -oriented.
* Able to make timely decisions anticipate problems and provide creative solutions.
* Retail experience and basic business knowledge are helpful.
* Action-oriented and full of energy for challenges.
* Able to deal with ambiguity and a changing environment.
