Position Summary

Assist Directors, Head Designers, and Designers with information. Follow up with agents on samples.

Specific Responsibilities

* Be involved in product development cycle & calendar. Assist Director on divisional deadlines & assist in preparation for PD meetings
* Perform general administrative duties including filing and email correspondence
* Coordinate with cross-functional partners, Global Operations, Sourcing, Agents and Vendors, as needed
* Provide weekly updates on the status of seasonal developments
* Track department samples and designs and maintain status reports on all product development projects
* Prepare agenda prior to Tuesday PD Meetings, and Wednesday Director Products Review meetings
* Open boxes daily for delivery of new product samples
* Keep sample room organized
* Archive samples every season, and maintain the archive report
* Resolve sample issues and work closely with overseas partners and vendors
* Update the presentation packets seasonally and keep a seasonal binder
* Send swatches to overseas vendors as needed

PLM Duties

* Add new products and pre-development products into PLM
* Update the PLM tracker with dates and comments as needed
* Update PLM database with approved product information
* Enter and submit basic design comments, revisions and approvals to agents via PLM and/or email for all products
* Initiate, track and confirm product and color sample requests and submissions in PLM

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's or Design degree (or experience in related field).
* Proficiency in MAC and PC.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Ability to prioritize and schedule work in a deadline driven environment.
* Strong communication skills.
