About the Team

The Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen Licensing Team manages relationships with some of the company's most important product partners. We are responsible for ensuring the company maintains all contractual obligations and can grow its licensed product business. We partner with cross-functional partners across product development, merchandising, inventory management, creative, and marketing to develop and manage the Licensing business segment.

About the Role

The Licensing Coordinator will serve as primary operational support to execute licensing programs across all product categories, under the direction of the Licensing Manager. Ideal candidates will have experience in project and/or merchandise management, excellent organizational and communication skills, and thrive in a fast paced, collaborative environment.

* Drive and maintain licensing process and calendar, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to ensure licensed programs are set up for success.
* Build strong working relationships with cross-functional business partners (including merchandising, product development, e-commerce, creative services, direct marketing, public relations, social, inventory, finance, legal, care centers, catalog) to facilitate seamless execution of licensing partnerships.
* Create and maintain reference materials to educate cross-functional teams (e.g. contract summaries, sample tracking, marketing guidelines, licensed property activation calendars, etc.)
* Serve as a resource for teams to understand contractual requirements of each licensor and provide training for team members as necessary.
* Ensure all product plans are accurate and communicated to appropriate partners.
* Maintain master SKU lists of licensed products to fuel streamlined processes and accurate record-keeping
* Own licensed product sample submission process: work with merchant team to acquire all required samples for licensor, register samples in licensor's online portal, process samples and ship to licensor
* Develop relationships with all license partners, acting as a brand ambassador and ensuring licensor day-to-day needs are met
* Manage marketing materials submission process: review all licensed product marketing materials for accuracy, upload files for approval by licensor, maintain calendar/schedule for approvals that is in line with business needs, manage relationship with licensor brand assurance team for expedited approvals
* Assist Licensing Manager with additional tasks as dictated by business needs

* You have a 4-year Bachelor's degree
* You have 1-3 years of experience in project management, merchandising, or similar function
* You may have retail industry experience
* You have prior experience navigating a large organization with multiple teams and shifting business priorities
* You have a working knowledge of highly-recognized, industry-leading brands within Licensing, B2B, partnership/sponsorship
* You have a proven track record of creative and resourceful approaches to unique business challenges
* You are extremely organized, detailed oriented, and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with concise record keeping
* You are a self-starter with ability to take initiative and explore new opportunities appropriate for our brands
* You have excellent written, communication and presentation skills
* You have strong quantitative skills
* You work well independently and with a team, and have stellar creative problem-solving skills
